Founded in the Tang Dynasty and perched at 3,300m altitude, the summit offers a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the entire ancient town’s traditional Tibetan houses, nearby Napa Lake and distant snow-capped mountains. The park’s iconic centerpiece is the world’s largest giant prayer wheel—21m tall (5 stories), gilded in pure copper, carved with four bodhisattvas and eight auspicious symbols, housing 1.24 million scriptures and weighing 16 tons.
